Glenvar Castle Walkthrough 2nd Quest (PART 3/4)

A four part walkthrough for the two quests found in the mod Glenvar Castle.

This is just to help the many people who are stuck on the quest and unable to complete it.

For technical problems with the quest, please read/post in the forum thread found in the link above. But also search the thread for your problem, since there are ALOT of posts with the same questions. So your question may have already been answered.

The spells I use are made in the construction set so that I could hurry up the killing and get on with the quest. If I had not speeded around like I did then the video would've been well over 30minutes. It is a long quest, I simply make it seem short.

NOTES:

1. You may have noticed there was no 'Battle' music. I have simply deleted the battle music folder in the .../Oblivion/Data/Music/ folder. Read up on the description and forum thread here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10876 It's all very confusing as to how I got it to work like it does in my game.

2. You may need to visit http://teseyecandy.com/forum/index.php to get around issues making Mystic Elf work with the Female Eye Candy mod (Mystic Elf is added by Ren's Beauty Pack which is in turn included in the Cosmetic Compilation mod). Specifically you need to visit this thread and search for "Mystic Elf Conversion" in the thread. http://teseyecandy.com/forum/index.php?topic=11.0

You need to be over 18 and logged in to access that thread and just about everything else on the above site.

The door isn't showing up in Charcoal Cave for me. Anyone know a way to fix this?

I had this problem because of the "Let the People Drink" mod. It moves the entrance of the cave to the right of that 'pond' of water. But for me that door didn't work... so I had to disable 'Let the People Drink' and re-enable it once I had done the quest.

You're better off posting in the thread for this on tesnexus though if that's not what's causing it.

Wait a second, upon re-reading.... the door IN the cave? The door only appears if you walk through a certain area, it's not permanently there. Are you trying to noclip (TCL) through the area? Many things in this quest are triggered by walking... it's best not to 'cheat' through it.

Personally I didn't find it too fast, I didn't feel like uploading 3 to 4 10 minute videos showing me just run around the place endlessly and taking ages to kill enemies.

The video is just supposed to show you the general way since just about all other paths are locked/barred, and it's kind of impossible to get lost.

You just need to remember to pick up all the items.

I might as well add annotations then if the video+your own ingame quest log doesn't give you a good idea of what to do. ;/

That fireball spell thats a nuke is from Midas Magic Mod, a very good mod that adds alot of very interesting spells, of course you have to collect certain ingredients though to make the spells, so it can be challenging. Theres a cheat for it too u need 1 silver nugget, 1 gold nugget, minotaur horns, and midas super ball which can be bought from him and a BEER put them in the little well and cast any spell and BOOM youll have all the spells.

Actually, the spell I was using in this instance was just a 2000dmg in 200ft spell that I made in the construction set to spend less time on killing and more on completing the quest.

@gd567890dA lol they did on mine too, i woke them up while they were sleeping and i think they may not have thier own clothes because the two i woke up went to dresser to get clothed lol
