In this hair tutorial I'll show you how to do a very unique, cute and fashionable braided fringe inspired by the 2011 hair trends. This is a nice way to create the effect of side swept bangs without cutting your hair. This gorgeous bohemian look is very simple to recreate and it works great on all hair types (fine / thin / medium / thick , curly / wavy / straight hair, long and medium length). You can do it on layered hair as well.

I show a couple of trendy updo and hald up half down hairstyles incorporating these french braided bangs. @cbeanie13 Thank you! My accent is Russian and yes, it should work just fine. As you reach your ear (or somewhere around that area - you should see where it looks best), you can secure the braid with a small elastic band, it will look really pretty with your hair length :)

Do you have thick hair? Because in one video it seemed like it but in this one it didn't.. I have thick hair and it's really annoying and I'm not sure I'll be able to do these awesome looks! :/ also, can u create this look if you have bangs (fringe) that come to the eyebrow?

@Silverwingz007 No, my hair is quite thin. You may find it easier to secure thick hair if you attach it section by section and not all at once. You can get similar look on shorter fringe if you braid closer to your forehead. You just have to try and see if it looks flattering or not :)
