  • What is the mic plugged into?

  • The mic is plugged into an Avalon mic pre and then patched into a PC using a Sonar recording package.

  • The easiest way is to get a USB interface that will accept a low impedance microphone input.

There is a lot of information on these types of interfaces online.

  • what should you do when your amp has 2 or more speakers? mic them both?

  • @Guitarvirtuoso666 No, you still only mic one speaker.

  • Where can i get one of those amp mounts for the microphone in Australia?

  • @OmnishowOfficial Our distributor in Australia is Production Audio. (613) 415-1585. Call them and they will direct you to a dealer.

  • on all micing videos it is only said where to put the mic but like how do you plug it into ur computer?

  • @KH13JPLAZMA i do not like to say one sound is better than another when talking about tone because you my want different sounds when playing different things. If u find that the centre sounds better to you then put the mic in the centre of the cab.

  • i like the edge position best

  • @AudixMics101 "Ideal position"? The different positions are just part of a toolbox. They emit different sounds. In an of themselves they are neither ideal or less than ideal.

  • @MegaFenderstrat not for metal, metals in center

  • @jawsrock1 hmmm a grand piano to professsionaly record would need more than one mic, at least one for each octive and a half
