Metroid Remix: Maridian Deep

This is a partially remixed arrangement of the Maridia Depths (Maridia I) theme from Super Metroid. Let it wash over you...

This song was put together over 7 hours on Garageband.

I've put this together primarily because of my inability to create a satisfactory mash-up using the original theme. There is a pending project that this piece is also stalling time for: My 1000 subscriber project (which is almost finished).

The artwork in the video comes from DeviantArt. If anyone wants to find these pictures, please let me know and I'll direct you to them.
The gameplay is taken from a Super Metroid Let's Play video by NintendoCapriSun. (If you haven't already, I recommend reviewing his videos. He is quite entertaining)

@pantyhosenightmare Nah. Too heavy for my tastes personally. Of course the future may prove otherwise but I sought to capture the feel of the original in this version. It's more about the subtle presence of atmosphere.

Really good. Have u tried mixing the Guardian Golem theme from MP3 with the Scorch's Pit theme from Spyro: Year of the Dragon? I think they work pretty well together. See if you can find any other songs that would work in that combination. I'd love to see what you could make of that combo.

@dragonoid4 Guardian Golem is the name of one of my mixes. Did you mean Mogenar's theme from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption? In any case, I see what you're getting at. They are fairly similar.
