@SuperHalloween101 No -- Bengals are descended from Asian Leopard Cats crossed with domestic cats. But most Bengals are only ~10% Asian Leopard Cat.

I used to have a persian, we shaved him about twice a year, but that was for necessity. His long hair tended to get badly matted and he kept fighting the brush when we tried to groom him.
