Hi, and thanks for the question! Assuming it is an interior wall painted with a latex paint, our GAC 100 is a good choice, although in truth just about any gloss medium will work. If the wall has any texture to it, Soft-Gel thinned 2 parts gel to 1 part water will seal the surface while being very resistant to generating foam. Hi Suntanners. while sealing the back might be a good idea if the paper begins to buckle, this video shows us sealing the front of the paper to reduce the paper's absorbency, thereby increasing the working time of the OPEN acrylics. - Thanks for asking! - Mike Townsend, Technical Support, GOLDEN Artist Colors
