God Bless You for this posting of the beautiful Gena Rowlands. How many episodes do you have on video and what are the chancing of getting them??? Gena also did a very controversial TV Movie Of The Week At That Time where she and Jane Alexander lived as a Lesbian Couple and she lost custody of her Son because of her Lifestyle. This was in the 1970's. Also, she was fantastic with Holly Hunter, Richard Dreyfuss and Danny Aiello as Marilyn Bella in "Once Around."

If Peyton Place were om today, there would be scores of DNA and lie detector tests galore! Cheating, out-of-wedlock pregnancies, and so forth.

Oh by the way, I was only a child when Peyton Place was first on back in the 60's.

@bewitchedfanpgh I remember seeing Adrienne fall down those stairs in that scene, too. I was 14 at the time and I remember crying when I saw that she died. This was the first time that I saw the beautiful Gena Rowlands and I always remembered her from Peyton Place. And she's still beautiful to this day.

Elliot and Connie remained married. They eventually left the show.

My earliest TV memory: Seeing Adrienne fall to her death on the stairs of the Peyton mansion. I was five years old: I haven't had a chance to see the episode since1967, and I can still hear the dialogue that preceded that very dramatic moment. No wonder I'm a big Gena Rowlands fan. ;^) I would be immensely grateful if somebody would post that scene to YouTube.

I saw the Peyton Place show enough to know that Elliot and Connie remained married.They left town in June,1968 with their son Matthew.
