  • Gotta love the Hollywood Fashion Plate. He was one of the first guys who was hated and then beloved.

  • Im very sorry for your loss, ive just watched Mr Blassie on the letterman show with Andy Kaufman recorded Februray 23rd 1983.

Mr Blassie and Mr Kaufman gave a great performance.

A person never really dies when they live on in our hearts.

    Rest in peace x

  • That scene when he pushes the doors open and walks into the light gets me every time. Truly one of the all time greats. Thanks for posting.

  • The guy you love'd to hate: Classy Freddie Blassie, great manager, but for those of us lucky enough to see him wrestle in west coast/Olympic Auditorium saw the real deal!

What a guy, Freddie would whip the crowd up and FILL the arenas! RIP

  • I remember being a kid loving Freddie Blassie even tho he was the heel manager. I actually watch watched an interview he had with Regis and he seemed like such a great man and very caring. That video brought a little tear to my eye

  • What a great tribute..... RIP Freddie..... you always entertained me.

  • I remember he used to always pick me up *I was the "Leader" in the back with him always* And he always called me " Suds" Until this day, I'll always, ALWAYS be his "Suds"

  • A master.
