@therealjoebloggs I watched magic town but they still appear much older then I would have thought. when you consider john lennon and ringo starr were only 23 in this time frame these guys at thirty-ish would have been born about 1935.more the age of elvis.not that it matters anymore but as a 12 year old in those days you'd think "these guys could be my uncles"lol

@TheBabyboomkidof53 Now that I think of it, months late and dollars short, go to the color video of Magic Town, if you haven't already done. You'll get a better idea of how they looked (mid/late 20ish).

@B52sguy The classics of previous time are cherry picked from what is mostly a vast wasteland of crap. The same is easily said about today's music. There are still some good songs made today, but most of it will not be remembered 50 years from now.

@therealjoebloggs That's why they've got a little Doo Woop left in their updated set. It works though.

@1960sgirl1 It is funny how so many "girls" don't see sexuality in how they might present themselves. I think they are more focused on themselves and just don't think of how they might be presenting to others. Hot Pants came in the 70s, but just the name ought to clue one in. And didn't you ever notice us boys dropping our pencils in class so we'd have a quick look? Most girls I think completely knew it and liked the attention - which is what it is all about.

@deaddoc That is funny you say that.... I mean yes I wore mini skirts ... "hot pants"... never thought of it as Sexual... but I guess you boys did :)

Wicked choreography going on there.
Long gone before I was born, The Vogues are one of my favorite groups of all time! They should've been bigger than they were. Their harmonies and hooks are amazing!
