Omg... I haven't laughed this hard in months! Even if it is a crappy game, at least it's comical to watch. x)

I haven't laid eyes on this game in 21 years, and couldn't for the life of me remember the name of it! I think giant shurikens eventually start coming after you in the later stages. I remember just holding the joystick down to move and attack to advance through the game. The karate devils kept moving into the punches, and I remember the rhythm of the punches landing sounded cool.

i like how they use the background color as a ninja body (?)

"Quality wise, this is as bad as it gets, and probably the worst fighter ever. [...] This game is simply absolute trash. Not even worth playing as a curiosity."

@MasterBORRACHO That is what several people want the ninja to be like.

Jesus I remember this game too well, can't find a playable copy of it for the C64 emulator though. pity

The karate guy is doing "the air is free" on the pantomimes.
First and only fighting game created by Phantom Software, first fighting game to play at home or in another building, first fighting game developed for a home computer (CM64), the first fighting game with health (as well as stamina), first side-viewed fighting game that isn't boxing, and the first fighting game that uses sprites (as well as large sprites) that isn't boxing.
Was Phantom Software a U.S. company or a European company?

@1983parrothead where did you get those details from? From memory i'm pretty sure this was an all character set job. I have no idea where Phantom originates from, looking at the title i'd say american, but i have this in pal format, ntsc conversion may have been a possibility though, but in 1983?? i don't know.
