  • You touched on three points I teach in puppetry workshops.

    1. It is not always necessary to use both arm rods to be effective. Nice job of demonstrating this.

    2.For every rule of puppetry, there is an exception. The flip topping and lack of eye contact you mention are great examples.

    3. You are trying to create a believable world where people will accept the puppets on their own terms. It's hard to explain believability, but you know it when you see it.
