  • I think that these people, who are from New Zealand, are very - very lucky, because this place looks so happy and.. I don't have words to describe it, it's just so free and happy

  • @antonposa there is no history without humans in terms of the world starting for us.

Don't kid yourself, Italy is older than New Zealand will forever be regardless if it was an established and recognized country or not.

  • I want to go to NZ sooooo bad

  • @nzdirectors No u better come to Pak first. Maybe you will face hard time to settle here. ;)

Once u satisfied, we will work out on a deal

  • @nzdirectors Dude, I'm not the one using metaphors. There was no such thing as Italy when NZ was discovered, read a book for Christ's sake. They were a collection of fiercely independent states, much like the Balkan and Soviet nations are nowt. Anyway, I don't really care if you agree or not. The only reason I made the comment in the first place was because I found the phrase "youngest country on earth" a little ambiguous. Thank you for helping me prove my point.

  • @nzdirectors refer to the video add, New Zealand was the last country to be discovered and to have humans set foot upon. We were hidden from the world, each continent had already been occupied before New Zealand.

  • @antonposa we aint talking technically, everyone no's untechnicality terms that italy was there way before new zealand. stop using metaphors and use the word to interpret the actual meaning rather than technical metaphors.

  • @nzdirectors The region was populated yes, but that doesn't make it a country with any sense of unified identity or boundaries. Provinces (many of which are now governed by France) were constantly fighting over who owned what, which is why the reformation happened in the first place. Anyway, history isn't necessarily defined by people. That's like saying NZ had no history before humans arrived. I think the ad is referencing that, like many Pacific countries, it rose out of the sea not long ago.

  • @nzdirectors You become Canadian and I become a New Zealander? Sounds like a great idea, let's give it a go! Why do you want to be Canadian?

  • @antonposa that's in establishment terms of government, however italy has history thousands of years before that, even if the country had no legal establishment or title.

New Zealand's history only goes back a few hundreds years. And thats the first recorded histoy of human establishments :)

  • @nzdirectors Yeah it is. The unification of the Italian states didn't happen until 1867. Before that, Italy technically wasn't a country. NZ wasn't set up as a self-governing body until 1840.
