The first nigun I ever wrote (around 10 years ago).

When I first started keeping shabbos, I had a hard time falling asleep, and I wound up in the beis medrash of Yeshivat HaMivtar in the middle of the night - leil shabbos. I stood by the bima singing in the empty study hall, and opened the siddur to the beginning... I found the words fitting as a personal thanks to Hashem for bringing me close and reconnecting me with a Jewish way of life.

It has stood the test of time in my repertoire, and received some enhancements over the years... I hope you enjoy!

  • אתה שר יפה מאוד עם כל הלב. כל הכבוד לך!!

השם הטוב יצליח דרכך להתעלות הלאה במעלות התורה והיראה.

    אמן!

  • This is beautiful. Thank you so much for your time and effort to post this great prayer song. I'm working on my acoustic guitar skills as well, but I'm nowhere near your skills yet.

  • you are great
