Why didn't you bother noting that this is a cover of Bright Eyes Kathy with a K Song? Just because Jason Mraz wants to conceal the fact that he can't write music and has to steal other people's music doesn't mean that you have to conceal it as well. The entire credit of this song goes to BRIGHT EYES because HE wrote it and Jason Mraz couldn't write anything close to this in his wildest dreams.

I don't think you should say "steal". Mraz has to pay the copyrights(or would be the cover-rights) to Oberst.

Chill the fuck out. The way you are coming at people, one would think it was you that created the song. No one stole anything because anyone with a sliver of common sense knows that you have to ask for the privallige to cover a track and then pay those who have rights to the song. So in a way, Mraz, seeking the permission and paying for the opportunity to perform the same song is a sign of respect to Oberst's lyricism.

So all that other bs you talkin, needs to take a seat.

Jason Mraz has every right to cover a song, I just don't believe he should have changed the name of it, I feel it's kind of disrespectful. But he can do what he wants, I should have known better than to write a comment like that because Mraz has a pretty large fan base, probably even bigger than Bright Eyes. My apologies.

According to Google, Jason Mraz released this cover in 2002

Bright Eyes released the EP "Don't Be Frightened of Turning the Page" with this song on in 2001.

So really, Jason doesn't write EVERYTHING he sings. & you in fact contradict yourself here saying that you enjoy his COVERS yet he writes everything he sings?
