I've a question. I'm a southpaw but can play guitar well but not as well as an expert. Is it possible to basically learn violin in a short period of time like 1 month since I already have the guitar knowledge?

To learn to play the violin properly ie making a decent sound and playing in tune will take a long time so you will need to have patience and give yourself time.

I know a few people who are left handed who play the violin very well. Some say you actually have an advantage because your left hand has to be very strong and supple when you press down the strings. Give it a go!

Another good way to remember the names of the strings is "Good Dogs Are Everywhere" :)

It's never too late. I know of quite a few people who have started as an adult. It all depends on you. off course there are quite a few factors that count against you for example your muscles have developed in a certain way so certain technical aspects might be a bit more difficult. But it depends on you and how much determination you have.
