Blues Stay Away From Me

This clip is of the band I was in last semester at ETSU, 4-Wheel Drive (I didn't come up with it), performing Blues Stay Away From Me by the Delmore Brothers. This is from our concert we had last on campus last November that featured all 12 bands in the Bluegrass Program.

Band members are: Zach Fanok, fiddle; Brent Burke, Dobro; Chris Wade, banjo; Raymond McLain, guitar-vocals; Danny Stewart, bass-vocals; and myself on mandolin. Anyway, it's nothing much, we only got together once a week, but it was a lot of fun.

AMAZING! I search for Delmore Bros and come across 4WD and there is Raymond McLain who I have not seen since the early 1970's (when at age 13 he was on stage with Don Reno and Bill Harrell at a festival in Maryland) a couple of years before I moved to New Zealand! A great production all round! Well done guys - might just have to start singing that good ol' song myself!

Really good picking cooper. Very nice mandolin too. I was in one of those ETSU bands in the early 1990's. It was a lot of fun.
