Inspired by The Seven Valleys of Baha'u'llah, with a poem from Rumi about "lover".

Music by: Smith & Dragoman
Titled: Layla

The intellectual is always showing off,

the lover is always getting lost.

The intellectual runs away.

afraid of drowning;

the whole business of love

is to drown in the sea.

Intellectuals plan their repose;

lovers are ashamed to rest.

The lover is always alone.

even surrounded by people;

like water and oil, he remains apart.

The man who goes to the trouble

of giving advice to a lover

get nothing. He's mocked by passion.

Love is like musk. It attracts attention.

Love is a tree, and the lovers are its shade.

(Kulliyat-e Shams)

  • This a most beautiful song depicting profound truths to sustain eternal LOVE...especially the love for any of the Major Prophests sent by God, as a gift, to guide humanity.

    Too bad my mystical side is not in balance with the practical side. Baha'u'llah's "Hidden Words" fits my nature more than "The Seven Valleys & Four Valleys".

    The birds in the vidio are so majestic; is the message also that one's soul can be the spiritual equivalent to physical symbol of the birds in diversity? Thanks.
