Blackstar HT-5 : from Van Halen to Setzer and beyond ...

Contrast! First a VH riff on the overdrive channel, then a Brian Setzer tune on the clean one; followed by a moody impro and then some boogie, still with the clean channel.
Guitars used are the Duesenberg Rocket I for the first clip, the Gretsch Brian Setzer Hot Rod for clips 2 and 3 and my modded Squier '51 for the last one. I used a Carl Martin Red Repeat on clips 2 and 3, and a Vox V810 Valvetone overdrive (set to light boost) on clip 4.
I used the Shure SM57 and T-bone RB500 microphones for recording.

@zacyboyZ Having played the Marshall Class 5 through a 300w 4x12, I'd say you'd have a bit of a hard time with 2x12. If you have a controlled drummer, I can see it, but you'd really need the extra speakers with the low wattage to be heard.

have you tried it with a 1x12 cab? I have an HT-5 head and am thinking of getting a 2x12 cab....
