This is a scene from the original play "The Show Across the Street". Written and Directed by Robert Moutal, based on a story by Pepe Stepensky.
The play shows a struggling theater group as they try to stage "Fiddler on the Roof, Part II".
In this scene Myrah, one of Tevye's great granddaughters is trying to energize a cup of soy yogurt, as part of a new line of dairy-free products of their milk empire.
Zahin, her Indian-born doctor/husband, explains to her the importance of tradition (adapting Tevye's famous monologue to include the Hindu culture).
