In the UK it is slightyl different but when the police stop to search you, they must provide you with the following information or the search can't begin: •proof of their warrant card •information on police powers to stop and search •your rights •the police officer's name and police station •the reason for the search •what they think they might find when they search you.

I'm so lucky to live in the San Francisco bay area! Weed has finally been decriminalized here for the non-med users! Getting caught with 1oz or less weed here is about as illegal as talking on the cell phone while driving!

Not necessarily, but they can't search you unless they get a warrant so even if you do get hauled to jail, any of the search's findings will be worthless to the prosecution.
