@TaffyRaphie,

That sound allegedly came about by accident. On the way to the recording session, the guitar amplifier fell off the car, and was slightly damaged. The damage was to the cone in the speaker, which made the guitar sound "fuzzy".
Is this true or just a story?

Ike Turner was a brilliant musician. No matter what his personal life turned out to be or how he treated Tina, he was a wonderful musician and knew talent. After all he discover Tina, if he did nothing else in life what an accomplishment that was. Thanks for the post.

he wasnt a bad manager either, apart from being too demanding. but that was because he was so ambitious himself.
youre right; he was a twat, but he was a good musician and businessman
