Thank you for the information and especially thank you for the excellent work, the band was terrific. And Spacey, what can be said about him, simply brilliant.

@MontajBlaze Agreed. His tour of Richard 3 is in New York now, at BAM. I plan to go and have the night of my life.

@TromboneAndyWood Thank you for sharing that with folks, who didn't quite believe their ears lol. One of my favorite - Kevin Spacey, song and dance-man!

@bigred997 Yeah, that's one of the reasons I loooove Spacey's work. Mimicry may sound like a 'parlor trick' but when you can adapt it you can become anything really. It's how he's played some of his roles, and how many people in the voice acting (a career I'm involved with)fill out their own roles. I've always adored Spacey's amazing voice work in all his characters(his physical acting is good to no doubt).

Bobby Darin's version made me just want to puke. Stupid Americans should learn to have a taste.

Hey, this is French! La mer, de Charles Trénet. Come on, Americans.
To the people that say that can't be Kevin Spacey singing on this... It absolutely is, I'm a musician on the soundtrack of the film and he was singing live about 10 feet from me when we recorded this. He's a magnificent singer and a very talented musician.
The band is the John Wilson Orchestra, and we recorded it in Abbey Rd Studio 2. The magnificent lead trumpet playing is Mike Lovatt and swinging drumming is Matt Skelton.
Hope everyone enjoys it!
