On March 16, 2007, Jeopardy had a historic moment with the first three-way tie ever. This could only plausibly happen under a specific set of circumstances (e.g., the 2nd and 3rd place playes are tied) but Scott certainly helped it along. Did he do the right thing? Check out the rematch.

  • The two co-winners...they ought to buy the red-shirted guy a drink...they scored big because instead of getting the 2nd and third place prizes, etc..they get to keep 16,000 dollars.

  • @purplekiller13 Trebek explained it. The guy wanted to make history since there was never a three-way tie before.
