Dude I get better FPS in Dirt 2 with my 5870 in benchmark (max 70s..min 60s). There's gotta be something wrong with your card or system.

I have AMD Phenom x4 965 3.4 ghz, 4gb ram

@Zangano1975 :upon release, this game was plagued with bad coding that wouldnt allow SLi or CrossfireX to function, new gpu drivers, game updates etc have significantly improved frame rates.....this video is 10 months old now....

I also played this game with my hd5970 and my old gtx295, but i think this benchamrks a little bit fake, right?

I had a lot more fps with my GTX295, and aslo with my hd5970.

Hi there,

Multi GPU was enabled, unfortunately, upon initial release of this game there were compatibility issues with SLi and Crossfire. This issue has since been resolved. I may run this bench again...but i'm pretty sure of the outcome already.

both are dual gpu (2009 tech) and 5870 is a single gpu ;)

5 years from now and we will be laughing on those cards with the radeon hd 11950 xc and the nividia 890 gtx

@Zangano1975 na its the fact your card is top gun and they wanted to keep it wuiet becaue the 5970 couldn't rape it and ran about the same killing sales so they kinda fixed it to get rid of them as much as possible.

5970's I mean.. the 5870 is the best card ever made to date.

Guys, Chill!

Drivers and game updates have pumped up performance of these cards a lot and smoothness, frames and game play too.

With my 5970 I get about double the FPS on the SAME settings.

Seriously, this video is over a year old.

I got Phenom II X4 955 black (stock)

and XFX HD 5770 (also stock) and i get 50-60 fps!!!

cant believe the gtx 580 and the hd 6970 can beat the hd 5970 in alot of games now dam mostly its beacasue 5000 series was not great with tesselation
