Always animosity twards the English from someone, blame the government, NOT the people, 9 times out of 10 the people are just pawns in the political game. I can think of a lot of reasons to hate the English government, they just aren't worth wasting my time on. Just try to remember that when you get heated an start slamming the English.

@fokjock There were three risings, 1715, 1719 and 1746.
By the cross our Andrew bore,
By the sword our William wore,
By the crown our Robert swore,
To win our Liberty.

Why should it be an insult ? They came from Scotland, didn't they ?

Gaurdduck,
Thanks for your interest in our country's history-there were two rebellions, in 1715, and 1745.
Many in my own country don't know their own history, so don't feel bad about it!
Those soldiers fought for the Kingdom of Great Britain, not Scotland. It would be an insult to put any otherf flag, then the Union Flag.

This is a non-profit organization band of volunteers who love to play music and recreate history with music. The band calls Lafayette, IN home. They play all over the midwest.
