  • Those soldiers fought for the Kingdom of Great Britain, not Scotland. It would be an insult to put any otherf flag, then the Union Flag.

  • This is a non-profit organization band of volunteers who love to play music and recreate history with music. The band calls Lafayette, IN home. They play all over the midwest.

  • @socarulz these guys fight for scotland and britian mate, scottish people have an overwhelming sense of passion and love for scotland when we hear the bagpipes being played at any occasion in any town and place it fills us up with the pride of bonny Scotland the Brave ! ><

  • Always animosity twards the English from someone, blame the government, NOT the people, 9 times out of 10 the people are just pawns in the political game. I can think of a lot of reasons to hate the English government, they just aren't worth wasting my time on. Just try to remember that when you get heated an start slamming the English.

  • @fokjock There were three risings, 1715, 1719 and 1746.

By the cross our Andrew bore,

By the sword our William wore,

By the crown our Robert swore,

    To win our Liberty.

  • @socarulz

Why should it be an insult ? They came from Scotland, didn't they ?

  • i'm English with Scottish Ancestry and quite agree

  • awsome! is this a drum and pipe group or is it like an oldguard orginzation?

  • twat

  • Gaurdduck,

Thanks for your interest in our country's history-there were two rebellions, in 1715, and 1745.

Many in my own country don't know their own history, so don't feel bad about it!
