I have a slightly modified H-49. It has a 3 pos switch instead of the blender knob and I put a Nashville TOM bridge on it and better period tuners.
I also have an extra H-49 body fully loaded.
THESE ARE GREAT GUITARS!

I owned a vintage version of that guitar. Bought it on Ebay for $350 and sold it for $730 a few years later. Sounded great but I hated the short scale neck. It felt like a toy to play. A kid with small hands might like it a lot. That was the only problem I had with it...I didn't enjoy how it crowded my fingers so I sold it.

Amazing. These Silvertones, Dnelectro Kays and Teiscos from 50/60's are a must. The more I hear them the more I like them.

Great demo!
If i'm not mistaken, I -think- this is one of the new production Harmonys.
The main difference btw these and the vintage ones is that they're all set-neck now.
I think the Jupiter is the best of the new line. They're all nicely made, but the Jupiter just knocked me out in every way.
They go for about $900 in the US. Seems like a lot for a repro of a department store guitar, but it's really a great little guitar.

I SO almost bought 1 of these, that had some *AHEM* "alterations" done to the stock pick-ups. If you find 1, pick it up, as these will definitely be increasing in value in the near future.
