The volume pedal u got to go in and carve out for it to sound good. Morley screwed up on these pedals. 0-5 is nothing almost when u get to 10 boom. It's wide open. U got to go in and take a screwdriver and carve it out so when u push down it gets louder. It's a good pedal just it's got to have that done first. Don't use ur stupid volume knob or ur tone is distroyed lol.

Your vid. is very helpful, clear and informative. I did not know about optical sensors. Good idea. I'm off to the shops to buy one!
Thanks for taking the trouble to use English here. It is an accident of history that so many people have to speak my language as an international language. But I guess we all speak American Blues through our guitars ; ).... the first language of popular music, and for good reasons too! Ah! The 'Blue Note'!

Why does Steve Vai has his own signature volume pedal?
Just switches the volume on and of.
What's this pedal like in terms of durability?

Well, obviously, I haven't had it for very long yet. Seems to be good, though.

did you run this through the effects loop of your amp or just the regular input? and did you run this with any other pedal?

@Rebellion0915
I ran it through the regular input - The amp doesn't have an effects loop. This can also be noticed by the natural cleaning of the sound when using the volume pedal. And I didn't use any other pedals - Otherwise I would have indicated so in this video.
