the edge 3 trem is very weak in composition and material... mine just f..up like after 3 or 4 years of intensive use

@yamaha4888 No, EMG's are terrible pickups, if you are still wanting a metal tone, go for a Dimarzio X2N or search the website and do the pickup selector. Also a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker is also a very nice metal sounding pickup (i know, i own one :P) Hope this helps! :D

Hey! I might be getting an RG soon, and I'd have enough money to do JUST a bridge upgrade, or JUST a pickup upgrade. Which do you think is more important to do right away?

@jefonyx Oh, sorry. It's the RG5ex1, which is pretty much the same as this. Just reversed headstock.

Honestly I would just advise you to buy a higher model such as IBANEZ RG1520A or kind like this, it will be at last the same budget and you won't have to change nor the bridge nor the pick ups immediatly.
But If you want to buy a 5EX1 anyway, I advise you to change the pick ups first then to pray for the bridge to be reliable enough :)
