In his own special way, Wilcox kind of defined dementia music. Love it! He had a way of warping music to places unknown and still letting you feel like you hadn't completely lost your mind (yet)!

Saw David at the Backstage in Vancouver in 1986....he was sooo fucked up drunk he couldn't talk but he played like the sweeet Jesus...what a memory.

There's an important lesson for young people that this video teaches very well: If you want to connect with your audience and draw them in, you have to show them that you enjoy performing. Wilcox does this very well.

This guy was probably the most under-rated professional of all time. I saw this guy at the doctor's hotel in Belleville Ont when i was like 17. He was amazing!
