  • i almost got the chance to go to this show. and whenever i see this video, I'm left in tears because its such a beautiful song and the best song for this band to end out on. i got into LCD late in the game, but this band has made an impact on my life, especially with this song and All My Friends. it's sad to know that they've been disbanded and i'd give anything to see them play one show at one of the smaller venues in NYC.

  • I'll always listen to LCD Soundsystem and be grateful they ever existed. And when I'm 52 and my grandkids ask me what I listened to, I'll pop on Sound of Silver and skip to New York I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down. Don't frown because its over. Smile because it happened.

  • Twin Peaks Theme song!

  • @nathan113 I for one totally agree with you. I also hate it when people shout the lyics along to songs that aren't meant to be sung along to. I love Ryan Adams' "Oh My Sweet Carolina", it's a beautiful song, but it's ruined live by all the idiots who are singing along instead of listening to the genius of the original artist. When James begins this song...he's clearly having an emotional, visceral experience knowing it's his last show...and idiots in the crowd keep wooping and hollering.

  • @lolzgym confirmed for failed troll attempt.

  • @nathan113 confirmed for boring head-nodder

  • @iamthelolrus69 Not the point. Dance, go crazy, whatever. It's just people screaming in between quiet moments, it that not just attention seeking and ruining the atmosphere of the song, no? It's an American mentality issue more than anything, go to any concert in England and you'd understand the start contrast in mentalities.

  • @nathan113 I'm sorry. I'll try to stand stoically at the next concert I go to, and maybe nod my head occasionally. Would that be a little too much?
