Mario Kart Wii - The Danswich Cup (Saturday) (1 of 2)

An interesting thing happened on the way to Mario Kart Wii: The Clarinet Cup, planned for this weekend, has been postponed. In its place is the Danswich Cup, hosted by Lord Danswich. He lives in a castle by the sea in England and spends his days playing Mario Kart Wii with his vassals and occasionally with his jester, who also happens to play a mean Call of Duty.

Race #1
N64 Mario Raceway
I was in a comfortable spot for much of this race but then got struck down by a person who grew via Mega Mushroom. Getting out of the way is futile, though I certainly didn't expect a one-two punch. I wound up completely unable to catch up...

Race #2
Dry Dry Ruins
Looks like the game decided to be sinister, though not to me--I got a Blue Shell as the final item of the race, so I might as well use it. Apparently, my internet connection was unstable and that he didn't actually get hit--and I didn't actually place 2nd. I placed 4th.
