wow very similar to the "monster of Florence" story, even same kind of weapon..I lived in florence Italy during the 80's when those murders were committed and the situation was very scary and people lived in fear..so sad these sick monsters live among us.

@Leksakshund As I said. I lived there at the time. I think most of the investigation was done more for appeasement to the public - then to actually finding him. I was kind of strange - as quickly as they began - they stopped. Because The City and the populace, are so tenacious and unyielding, within a matter of time life was back to normal. Normal according to san Francisco standards. You did walk at night listening and watching - Slowly, you began to let that whole Zodiac fear subside.

I lived in The City during this time. very scary time for all. You looked at everybody with a bit of suspicion. I had always thought there was probably a copycat who may have committed some of the attacks. But that was just speculation. We, my partner and I, had thought they would never catch him (victims who lived said it was a man), unless he turned himself in. He never did - and they never did catch the person(s) who held a city in panic.
