not every single raccoon have rabies... they have the same chance of getting rabies then all the other "cute" wild animal you encounter... plus you would know if the raccoon have rabies because it would act all ape shit.

Raccoons often have rabies. Otherwise, I don't know why they give the baby a human smell? So the mom will leave it?
