  • what fans did you use?

  • @CJhakeV the front and top fans are 200mm corsair white led fans, while all the other ones (6 in total) are cooler master R4 Blue LED Fans. not the quietest, but they are pretty good.

  • That is a damn nice computer!!! :O

That beast will probably get 120+ fps in Crysis maxed out at 5180x1600 (triple monitor 2560x1600) or something like that lol

I built my computer exactly one year ago, and I'm perfectly happy. Then again, I still haven't invested in a good monitor and pair of speakers, but I'm happy.

  • @sonic3243 haha, thanks. but naw, Doesnt get that high. AT 5760x1200 resolution on gamer setting (crysis warhead) with 2x AA, it gets a little over 30fps, but it stutters badly since it uses all the video ram. games like MW3 play flawlessly though. BF3 is another one that uses too much Vram. should have gotten the 2.5GB 570's

I use 3 24" samsung monitors and have a set of Logitech Z-2300's for speakers, they work great, but want to upgrade to real speakers in the future.

  • great upgrade!

those HX psu's are high quality stuff. will keep your rig running stable for a long time.

i wanted to get a pure sine wave UPS, didn't quite have the cash to get one, hopefully later

  • @VincentX202 i had a TX750 in there before which ran it fine, but i was worried that i was pushing it a bit too hard. I love this modular one. There is about 5-6 cables i didnt need to put in. Saves clutter.

  • Try Metro 2033 on that with max everything.

  • @VincentX202 nah :P Then again, computers have rapidly changed. My Gateway from 1999 had the best computer speakers I ever owned, excellent sound, crystal clear, even better than the $450 "book shelf" speakers that I tried in a store. Excellent bass too. Unfortunately, they started dying in 2004 and completely died in 2007. Nothing could replace them :'(

I do have some nice JVC over the ear headphones that sound great, but sometimes I wish I had some real speakers :(

  • @sonic3243 while on the subject of speakers!

just want to give a tip. all PC speakers stink, trust me doesn't matter how much they cost, or how nice they look

you're better of investing in some wood book shelf speakers "non pc" brand or some quality headphones

  • @codebean haha. Thanx for pointing that out. Fixed
