PART 1 OF 2: Harlan Ellison spoke after a screening of "A Boy and His Dog" at the New Beverly Theater in Los Angeles on March 12th, 2009. Unfortunately the camera's memory card filled up after 15 minutes. Harlan Ellison continued to speak for about an hour until the theater manager halted the talk because the 2nd movie needed to start (he said so the theater could close at a reasonable time). Harlan Ellison then continued his lecture out front of the theater on Beverly.

Earlier in the day Harlan Ellison had fallen on his roof and injured his back.

The day after this Q&A Harlan Ellison filed a lawsuit against CBS & the WGA over royalties.

  • I saw all this kind of stuff before I ever read him. Of course, I was expecting the worst. I not think he's one of the best living American writers

  • This man is a genius! Read anything he's written and you will forget about his somewhat overbearing personality and be stunned by his skill with the short story.

  • Hello Harlan

  • Harlan Ellison, such a cunt and a twat.... but also a genius and a skillful visionary.
