We look at the first race of the meeting which is also known as the "novices' Champion Hurdle" and features a strong challenge from Ireland in the shape of Captain Cee Bee, Muirhead, Fiveforthree and Cork All Star whilst the home team is led by Khyber Kim, Sentry Duty and Rippling Ring.

Binocular is obviously one hell of a horse but was just out stayed up the hill. Thats why i think he won't win the champ next year, but i could be proved wrong. A fit Sizing Europe would win i think, but there is better value in Sentry Duty e/w. Yes, i did say Sentry Duty!! 25/1 for a handicap hurdle tomorrow, has to be worth a few cuid e/w!!
