no it did'nt ,the hoyas scored like 12 straight unanswered points and had several chances too tie late.G-town couldn't buy a shot in the second half..the better team lost.G-TOWN was the best team in the country that year!
I swear that dunk was in the 2nd half , thanks for the facts! Yeah Georgetown was flat out nasty in 1988-1989. They had a good backcourt (Smith and Tillmon) and with Mutumbo and Mourning blocking shots left and right.
