In model railroader, Ho is most popular, N is in second, then O, and then a handful of other scales....

What kind of locomotive are you using??

The locomotive used for the video is a Lionel RS 5.0 Union Pacific GP30. I don't know if the sounds come through that well on the video but I find them to be really good.
That Lionel GP30 has their "new" truck design and some folks question its pulling power. In my book...it is an "okay" puller...nothing great...but, okay.

Interesting name...the video is, probably, a little deceiving...the outside mainline is 117" and they reduce by 9" as you go inside. At this point, I prefer the Atlas O 99" curves as I don't have to struggle with flex track...and the resulting "kinks" that you may see in some of the outside turns.
