  • I watched both movies and the Real Ghostbusters before I saw this one. Then I saw it on tv on qubo and I honestly like it better than the other ones :)

  • fucking youtube why can`t I just "press enter" and the comment automatically posts...there`s the remove option so WADAHELL!?

  • @rubick79 the dude talking sounds sarcastic selling that "...has A.....REAL....CAAAPE!!!" ^_^

  • i'm a fan of both Ghostbusters cartoons but i have to say this one is wayy cooler.

    i love Eddie Spenser! lol

  • @ForthReich Dude, you know by now that's not t rue.

  • You know full well that there were people that bought both sets of Ghostbusters figures and did their own crossovers. I would've if I could have found these in my area.

  • @Doop3r Right, at the time I didn't realize Dan Aykroyd had no idea about the original TV show. In old interviews he does mention old comedies w/ ghosts as inspiration, but never points to the original TV show. Odd to me, but it is what it is.

As for your last point, the live action original does have a lot to do with the Filmation follow-up. The Filmation cartoon is directly based off of that TV show. The characters are the sons of the live-action duo.

  • @dukeofcrydee Actually, Dan Aykroyd wrote the script with no knowledge of there being any previous thing called Ghostbusters. Columbia WAS aware though. But Aykroyd, the guy who came up with the concept? No clue. So the Ghostbusters everyone is familiar with with Peter, Egon, Winston and Ray, really has no ties to the Filmation GBs aside from the name. In fact, the live action original Ghostbusters show has very little to do with the Filmation follow-up.

  • I would have wanted the car...
