After a loooooong break, largely because Charlie is lazzy, we are back! And we have a new format. In the interest of continueing to totally rip off Top Gear, we are now modeling our video layout as such. Watch as we smoke the tires on the new Mustang 5.0 and toss around the MX-5 Miata. And we even showcase a little 2011 Houston Auto show as well. Sit back, enjoy the ride, and as usual, don't forget to visit our site at www.burnoutradio.com

  • He's one of the very few that have complained about the solid rear axle and having it leaving you "with a little more to be desired." Drive either of the two cars it competes against and compare the IRS to solid axle.

  • @aquill1 agreed... nick and i disagree vehemently over this. i think the solid rear axle is just fine. but he moan and complains about it on a regular basis. suffice to say nick is just flat wrong.

  • Ast 5100 or 5200 suspension or a v8 miata will not handle for crap.

  • @tehjeffman we're defiantly planning on upgrading the suspension on the miata for the v8 swap when we get to that point. i'm not familiar with ast suspensions. what's their web site?

  • @burnoutradio ast-usa.com and best part is they are in plano. We have a NA and NB on 5100 and a NA on 5200. Switched over from tein flex and mono flex with great results. Fastest NASA TT cars are on them and Continental Tire Challenge is running them. Help and shop space is still open for when your get to building.

  • @tehjeffman sounds awesome. i'd love to talk with you more about it. shoot me an email at charlie at burnoutradio . com when you get a chance. suspension is actually the next step in our build up.

  • Check out my 'MX-5 Cruising' video via my name.

  • @aquill1 I see this going both ways, and I totally see your point as well. From an engineer's point of view, the Mustang itself would have the *potential* for better handling with an IRS, it still is great for what it is and it outperforms many cars with independent suspensions.

So, it seems that what the engineers did to get the most out of what they had was more important than what they were starting with.

Which begs the question, how good would their IRS be? Godlike?

  • gay review.

  • @brad1445: lol Now wait a minute. Lets be serious here for a sec. You are not cutting your dick off for anything.

  • @trancedsailor TEAM MIATA FTW

  • @brad1445 I bet my Miata is more manly than your car.

  • @brad1445 Geez, I'd only give my third nut?

  • I would cut my dick of before I drive a miata
