It is a 2000, but a lot of people don't know that they continued to offer the older 1988-98 body styles as an option through the 2000 model year beside the redesigned models starting in 1999.
Even when they redesigned the trucks for the 1999 model year, a lot of people still liked the older "classic" style so GM continued producing them until the demand dried up (I think 2000 was the last year you could get them).
