Lost Odyssey Soundtrack Sample 2

In Lost Odyssey the player takes control of Kaim, a man who has been sentenced to live for 1,000 years. Gameplay revolves around the many generations of which Kaim is a part of, his loves and losses and conflicts of a world nearing a "mystical industrial revolution". Lost Odyssey's story is being penned by the award winning Japanese novelist, Kiyoshi Shigematsu who is working directly with the game's producer Hironobu Sakaguchi on the story sequences. Heading up the artistic demands of the title is famed Japanese comic artist, Takehiko Inoue, while famed composer Nobuo Uematsu has been recruited to create a more contemporary soundtrack. Mistwalker is developing the title, with cooperation with a studio named Feel Plus, a subsidiary of Microsoft created specifically to aid Mistwalker. Former Square employees at Microsoft are also involved. It has been confirmed that the game will come on 4 Dual Layer DVDs, making this the largest Xbox 360 game to date.

With Nomura running the Final Fantasy series, I doubt he'll beable to come up with anything that has substance like Lost Odyssey.

Nobuo Uematsu is doing the sound track for Final Fantasy XIII, as he already did with Final Fantasy XII, XI, and X.

i love LO so far... the world reminds me so much of ff8, the skill system is kind of like ff9, the story is pretty good too. I hope he makes more RPGs of this quality and depth... to hell with square-enix they fucked up when they had a ku against their master mind.

Im a huge FF fan even, but this LO is amazing! Im at disc2 and I love the game. Its an epic story. best game since FF X. It will be hard for FF13 to beat this. LO is legendary

Yoshinori Kitase is pretty skilled though.

but what made the FF games (up til FF X) so good is that it had the right people to work on it. And now that they are splitt, its harder to get good games
