Humboldt County's 4th District Supervisor contest is headed into a November runoff election!

Following the third-place showing of Eureka Councilmember Jeff Leonard in the June primary, the race is down to two women: Incumbent Bonnie Neely, the occupant of the seat for 24 years, and challenger Virginia Bass, the Mayor of Eureka.

Both candidates sat down for a second round of interviews with Charles Douglas of the Humboldt Sentinel to dig into economic development issues and the controversy-laden development plans for the Balloon Track and the Ridgewood Heights subdivision.

Filmed at Has Beans Cafe as part of the Has Beans Interview Series on August 18 and 19, 2010.
