Cyclic was rotated 30 deg mechanically, not hard on a 120 deg swashplate. Cyclic gyro gain reduced to 16. Back on the test stand, clearly there is too much noise in the cyclic gyros. Exactly how much the cyclic gyros should move has never been documented.

  • wouldn't the gyro need to be specificaly designed for fbl inputs,...also th level of th setup would have to be dead on ,...or was this effect what u were looking for when the cyclic was rotated 30 deg???

  • Maybe the phase is wrong, so the feedback induced the oscillation. The other cause may be the ground resonance. You tied the heli on ground and not allow the artificial stabilizing system to respond with the airplane. This could also induce the oscillation.

  • also the washout is loos that's why u get the oscillation

  • i don't think u can just take the fly bar out. the head works around the fly bar and the inputs from the swash also goes into the fly bar. u might need a different head that did not have a fly bar

  • what kinda servo? also check the blade tracking something may not be spinning right. how come thers no fly bar?

  • What is going on????
