Kopi Luwak indeed taste better, nutty and less bitter, giving it a smooth special taste that can't be found in any other coffee and guarantee of containing no preservatives.

I've drank it from the company B-town Beans.

$20 for 2 oz.

It tastes great, it is totally smooth. No bitterness whatsoever (apparently that is the benefit of the luwak's digestion- enzymes that remove bitter flavor).

I had to put it in the mortar though, grinded by hand to avoid tainting it with other coffees- from using the store's coffee grinder.

It is really good, but not worth the price. Very light flavor for giving such a strong coffee-buzz. Best coffee I've had, not a staple

Strange how so many people think civets are cats -- so much so that they'd let it slip through on a newscast. They are closer to weasels. Anyway, gross-out factor aside, I think I'd try it if the opportunity was there! I'm very curious about it.
