the mayans didn't have LEAP YEAR which throws them off 3.5 years, putting their dec. 2012 at our modern july 2009. so if they were right, we'd be dead by now.

there's also reasonable proof that the world WONT end.

mayans didn't have leapyear, so considering the start date>end & 1day missed every 4 years, it puts the mayan calendar about 3.5 yrs behind our calendar. according to the mayans, the world would've ended in the modern summer of 2009. i'm still here!
