Your forgetting one thing dude, Ekranoplane was meant as a military application almost fifty years ago,[ the caspian sea monster], now the technology has drifted to the civilian market.
it's supposed to be a WIG not a low level 400 knot missle.

@glidergod Most likely ekranoplan "Lun" is going into production in 2012. Until that upgrades are being made.

Future? You kidding? Ever heard of Da Vinci? Lovely work, though. Very much along the lines of the jump-jet I did to homage Evil Knevil. Mine was ion-drive, like the stealth fighter. No props or thruster/intake, just generation of enough electricity to power the rig. Peace.
