Don Briscoe replaced Tony Merritt on Days of Our Lives in the 60's. Why can't Don bite my neck? Grayson Hall was so lucky. I'm sure he's either in his 70's or passed away now though. I think he passed away years ago. Lara Parker (Angelique) was the sexiest and most beautiful woman on DS in my opinion. For her age she is still an attractive woman. Speaking of Days of Our Lives Vivian and Carly are back. Elizabeth and Angelique were the Carly and Vivian of the 60s via the buried alive storyline.

Don Briscoe is so sexy. Those brown eyes just make me melt. The three best looking guys on Dark Shadows are actor Don Briscoe, Tom Happer (Jeremy Grimes of 1840 storyline), and Keith Prentice (Morgan Collins: 1841 Parellel Time). I've read on Wikipedia that actors Keith Prentice and Louis Edmonds (who played Roger Collins) were both openly gay and Keith was a good friends and a frequent houseguest of Louis and his partner Bryce.

have you noticed one thing about Thomas Jennings he appears more like a Zombie styled Vampire then Barnabas dose.Exactly the way a Vampire should look.

i think DS couldve done more with Tom Jennings story. what wouldve been cool when Chris came to town looking for answers into Tom's demise and finding out that he was a vampire. i always believed Tom was the only person who knew Chris was a werewolf and decided to take that secret to the grave.

Such a handsome man, Don Briscoe. I loved his easy-going style and good natured approach to the unaccursed characters he played in 1897 and in HODS. The Brothers Jenning added so much to the storylines "they" were in. What I liked was the sympathy Barnabas had for each brother--he understood what they had gone through. Impressive music and interesting use of captures. A+++

I have to agree, Don Briscoe as a vamp had a completely different feel than Frid did. He looked like he enjoyed every second with Julia (and the feeling seemed to have been mutual). Good stuff.
