Negative- I had Mrs. Shaw for first and second grade and from what i have been told is that she didn't teach us phonics correctly. In third grade, I was in the special reading class and I remember feeling like i had failed. Being in that class made me realize that I could get reading, but I still feel like i read slightly slower than others, but i feel like I get great comprehension of the subject I am reading about. I do feel like my understanding of what nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs
