Maradona is totally different, and cant be compared to anyone..nobody nowadays gives a pass from the first touch as he did..its magic..he gives a pass forward, while he is turning his back to the goal..impossible..and we all know that the fields were very bad in comparison to the ones nowadays..

Maradona is from nr. 1 to 10..then the rest from 11 to............

People tend to forget how shitty the fields were back then as well, as compared to the well groomed fields of today. The only person that came close to passing from the first touch like Diego was Zizou.

he could never be as good as diego..then..forget about dribbles..the touch..the most important thing about Maradona is his touch..how he gives a pass by 1 touch..how he sees the whole pitch..how he waits few seconds then pass the ball at perfect time..Messi will never have this technique..

while in Maradonas teams..they were worry about only 1 player..Maradona..

then..its much easier to dribble in a flat perfect pitch than a pitch for vegetables..and much easier to be free than having a player or 2 kicking you every time u touch a ball..

No..defenders nowadays are not better..easier to dribble..with more pressing and much more great players around who open the way..Messi plays in the greatest team in the world..deffenders are worry about each and every player in his team..
